The Pic Archive contains an extensive collection of pictures of the Festival, Prix, Center, Futurelab and Export. A selected collection can also be found on Flickr (Ars Electronica Stream). Older pictures are from a now obsolete version of a custom-made image filing system that has been migrated to the new structure.

The highlight of Chapter 3 of the FOUNDING LAB Fall Term. Drones serve as tools for artistic exploration, specifically in the Dancing Drone Challenge. Students explore choreography involving both mechanical and organic entities, emphasizing the relationship between humans and machines. Drones and humans work together to convey this connection, programmed to perform a specific choreography. In addition, environmental ambience is created through sound and light. The task is to embody the role of a drone, echoing an earlier thought experiment in which students imagined themselves as machines.
