ARS ELECTRONICA ARCHIVE - PICTURES

The Pic Archive contains an extensive collection of pictures of the Festival, Prix, Center, Futurelab and Export. A selected collection can also be found on Flickr (Ars Electronica Stream). Older pictures are from a now obsolete version of a custom-made image filing system that has been migrated to the new structure.

"Anton Bruckner 2024": Ars Electronica is kicking off Bruckner's anniversary year with two interactive projects: the sound installation Being Anton and the interactive Deep Space application Playing Anton offer an immersive approach to Bruckner's life and work.

The projects were presented at a press conference on January 30, 2024, at the Ars Electronica Center in the presence of Thomas Stelzer (Governor of Upper Austria), Klaus Luger (Mayor of the City of Linz & owner representative of Ars Electronica), Doris Lang-Mayerhofer (City Councillor for Culture & Chairwoman of the Ars Electronica Advisory Board), Margot Nazzal (Director of Culture and Society, Province of Upper Austria), Norbert Trawöger (Artistic Director of oö. KulturEXPO „Anton Bruckner 2024“ & Artistic Director Bruckner Orchestra Linz) and Gerfried Stocker (Artistic Director Ars Electronica).
