The Prix Ars Electronica Archive is a collection enabling search and viewing of all the submissions since 1987. The award-winning projects are documented with catalogue texts and audio-visual media. All other submissions can be searched by title/artist and displayed with year, category in list form. Please cite the credits (artwork name, artist and photographer) and only use the materials if your article is related to Ars Electronica.

Five Pieces of Evidence is a five-screen video and sound installation that reflects on missing persons, urban myths, transition, mapping and global networks. Each of the five screens are themed on a narrative akin to a “whodunit”: the missing person, the assailant, the scene of the crime, the trail and the motive. A multi-layered set of scenes and references are evoked by missing persons notices, street maps, demographic statistics and images of pipelines, rail tracks and cityscapes. These clues and components, which can evoke endless possible narratives, are a reflection on the disappearances that are staged everyday in urban spaces.

Raqs Media Collective (Jeebesh Bagchi, Shuddhabrata Sengupta and Monica Narula, IN) is a collective of media practitioners that works in new media digital art practice, documentary filmmaking, photography, media theory research, writing, criticism and curation. The collective began working in 1992.
