Digital Musics & Sound Art Anerkennung - Honorary Mention 2010

Flaechen [from the series Raumgeflechte]

Julius Stahl
The installation consists of resonating wire walls hanging in the room. Spotlights project precise shadows of the wire walls onto the floor and the walls of the exhibition room. Visual convolutions of the figure are created. Emerging from the resonation of the wire, a dynamic framework of objects, sound, light and the space of the exhibition is created. The composition of the resonations is generated by dedicated software. The events change in character through permutations in time, movement sequences and their combination: an alternation of blurriness and clarity, light and sound relations through the room.
