Move-X
Eduard Oleschak
“Designing architect-friendly user programs led me to the idea of creating an attractive design media that would allow for animating any freely designed object within a filmed environment. The idea of creating several accessible layers and then playing around with their perceptibility was still not enough for me – I was also imaging a similar sound conception: the short history of 'moveX', discovering itself in a flight full of desire, is an example of how we insert computer animations into a free zoom with the manual camera in order to create a completely homogenous imagery. Such processes had not been possible hitherto without using hardly accessible computer controlled camera units. Now we calculate all camera parameters of each video half frame, including lens distortion etc. The depth over various levels shows lapses in reality and perception that cannot be but digitally overcome, although they have a long artistic tradition.” (Eduard Oleschak)
