Migrations

Constantin Chamski
"In a decor of dictatorial architecture, the sculpture of an angel supporting a column decides to follow a flight of migrating birds..."
I made this movie during the last year of my CG studies at Sup Info Com (Valenciennes, France) in 1997. We had previously had a year to become familiar with the 3D tools by creating still pictures, and the second year was dedicated to the making of a student film. Unlike some of the other students who gathered in groups to make their movies, I did the entire work (scenario, graphics, animation and editing) on my own, which was actually harder than I thought, especially considering the software and hardware I was working with (3D Studio 4 on PC computer).
Constantin Chamski (F) obtained his baccalaureate in the field of science and studied communications and graphic design in Paris. After a short stay at an advertising company, he attended the Sup Info Com School courses for two years. He has been working since then on different projects such as TV commercials and videos at Buf Company and Ex Machina, two French 3D picture-making companies.
