Loop
Makoto Sugawara
A man is peacefully working in a small room on the creation of his new robot. Suddenly the room starts to warp and tries to squeeze him. The man immediately takes the robot out the door and commands the robot to re-shape the room back to normal. However, the robot does not follow his command and instead starts creating his own new robot. A very mysterious and ominous story which illustrates a very distinct character.
Makoto Sugawara (JP) studied physics and started working full-time at Links, Co., one of the largest computer graphics studios in Japan, soon after graduation. He became independent after working there for five years as an artist on many TV commercials, featuring his own unique, original characters. Currently, he works at the Digital Engine Laboratory (affiliated with Bandai) closely under the supervision of Mamoru Oshii (director of Ghost in the Shell).
