Occupy George

andy dao, ivan Cash
Money talks, but not loud enough for the 99%. By circulating dollar bills stamped with fact-based infographics, _Occupy George_ informs the public of America’s daunting economic disparity one bill at a time. Because money knowledge is power.

**Ivan Cash** (US) is a San-Francisco-based artist, designer and culture jammer who believes in creativity’s power to engage people and radically change the way we see the world. Having developed a career in advertising while living in Cape Town, New York, San Francisco and Amsterdam, Cash continues commercial work on a freelance basis and loves creating independent projects that subvert pop culture and address themes of social activism. Cash is a big fan of street art, snail mail, mashups, meditation and writing in the third person.

**Andy Dao** (US). I am fascinated by documentaries, stories from This American Life, and ones told by The Notorious B.I.G. I get my news from the Public Broadcasting Service and National Public Radio, which automatically makes me an elitist. I try to learn a lot about the world, meaning I’m a pest to cab drivers. In my past jobs I became a certified welder, scaled I-beams unreasonably high off the ground, tossed pizza dough, operated movie projectors, played basketball with ten year-olds for an entire summer, demolished said ten year-olds in Connect Four, set myself on fire (twice in the same day), smoked pot in walk-in freezers, flipped burgers and cleaned toilets after graduating from college. I can sincerely say, those are still the best times of my life.
