Ballpit
kyle mowat
_Ballpit_ is a short film that explores some of the concepts behind natural selection, things like adaptation to environmental changes, in an appealing and visually inventive way. The goal was to give the impression of life as a cycle in which the place of humans is only as a small part in a much larger process; a reminder of our relative insignificance.
Most of all I wanted to do this in a very positive sense. I hoped to make something that celebrates our place in such an incredible and astounding process rather than viewing our lack of importance as a negative.
