Eddy Table, known from the comics of Dave Cooper, makes his screen debut in this animated short.
What if your worst fear and your greatest love turn out to be the same thing? Lost in a dark forest, Eddy Table stumbles upon a mysterious girl and dangerous parasites.
He should escape, but something keeps him from leaving. Rune Spaans’ romantic horror short is based on the works of Canadian artist Dave Cooper.

Rune Spaans (NO), born in 1974, is a director and designer who has over 20 years of experience in design, animation, and visual effects. He has contributed animation and VFX to films such as *Monster Thursday* (2004) and *Trollhunter* (2010), and directed several award winning commercials. In 2015 he directed his children’s feature film *Two Buddies and a Badger* (Knutsen & Ludvigsen og den fæle Rasputin). *The Absence of Eddy Table* is his first short film.
