Bernat Cuní is an artist exploring the digitization of objects and spaces through code, crafts, and robots. Currently, he experiments with artificial intelligence, mixed reality, and digital craftsmanship. He runs cunicode.com, a studio that investigates the creative applications of emerging technologies from a post-capitalist perspective.

Initially starting his career as an industrial designer, Bernat shifted to research-based design practices, focusing on people rather than products due to discomfort with the consumerist agenda. He spent several years in Hong Kong managing sustainability projects and a design incubator at the HK Polytechnic University's School of Design.

After returning to Barcelona, he worked with digital fabrication technologies to democratize access to production means, participating in various EU research projects and launching startups. Since 2019, he has focused on artistic practice, developing experimental projects that blend technology and activism outside the corporate realm. Notable residencies include SNAP.inc and Runway, where he created artistic projects using AI and augmented reality tools.
